Dear GODM Family And Friends

With all the uncertainty resulting from the recent COVID-19, I first want the thank you for your continued support, but also reassure you that we are committed to your wellbeing; spiritually and naturally. I hope you are keeping well and managing to keep your spirits up during this difficult time.

In line with the government’s recommendations, where possible, we ask that you continue the practice a healthy lifestyle and avoid behavior that might put your health in jeopardy.

Change is the only constant in life. As we see all the things that are changing in every area of our lives, we are reminded that we can only control one thing: our faith. What I believe and how I exercise that belief is determined by my ability to love. The love of God is established in my heart, I now for a certainty that “greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world”. Therefore, what is in me determines how I respond to what is going on around me. To that end, it is my internals that determine my eternals. As a Kingdom dweller, I am an eternal being as result of my internal beliefs, so I am not moved by the prevailing externals.

Remember perfect love casts out fear. Because I am a believer of the Word of God, I have peace even in the midst of this storm. We will survive and emerge even stronger than before.

Child of God, everyone is watching us. How we weather this storm will have a lasting effect on our ministry. People should be encouraged to support ministry, because they are sowing to their future. A seed sown under “pressure” (our current situation) will explode in blessings.

Remember you are the church; therefore, your geographical location has little to do with your service to Christ. As the people of God, we are at our best when we are serving. Be creative; find ways to serve by praying for someone, preparing or delivering a meal or just calling someone to share a kind word.

Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord; that means do it responsibly and safely. If I, or any of our members can be of ministry help to you, please call our Care Ministry.

Yours, as an ally of Faith,
